About the roleIn this role, you will proactively lead, manage, and facilitate the successful design of the end-to-end integrated digital solutions necessary to achieve successful operational commissioning in accordance with Hospital and Health Services (HHSs) and Queensland Health requirements.
You will be the interface between Queensland Health and the Master Systems Integrator (MSI) and represent the Programs digital scope.You will employ your excellent communication and management skills to engage and coordinate access to all Queensland Health digital stakeholder groups, while coordinating the overarching integrated plan and program for the delivery and commissioning of all digital works.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Proactively lead, manage, facilitate and coordinate the successful end-to-end integrated digital program to achieve successful operational commissioning.
- Provide expertise and advice to the Project Directors and senior management team, including advice on the resolution of changes, issues, and disputes, as well as management of key advisor inputs for all ICT matters across the Program.
- Ensure that, from a digital design, delivery and commissioning perspective, the end solution meets the requirements of HHS and Queensland Health stakeholders and is delivered in accordance with policy, laws, industry standards, best practice including Building Information Modelling (BIM).
- Provide oversight and coordination of all aspects of design assurance which are informed by digital ICT.
- Provide guidance on the MSI to digital stakeholders to confirm the scope, objectives and design principles of the digital solution, ensuring that the digital principles consider the overarching strategic direction of the Queensland Health.
- Participate in program and project meetings, such as, status updates, project steering groups, ICT working groups, design authority meetings and user group workshops as required; and provide coordination and facilitation of user groups for key digital stakeholder groups.
- Prepare timely and high-quality program/project status updates, briefs, reports, business cases, digital program plans, schedules and advice as required
- Provide a point of contact and co-ordination between the project team, HHS ICT team and the Queensland Health eHealth Division to ensure a coordinated approach to project delivery.
About youTo be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in successfully managing the design aspect of digital projects of similar size and complexity within the health sector that deliver desired objectives of key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of digital concepts within the public health sector, including the ability to understand and interpret relevant legislation, regulations, strategy, policy, industry standards and best practice relevant to the digital health sector.
- Ability to consider strategic digital issues and to translate them to specific recommendations and solutions.
- Ability to gather, understand and analyse complex information and intelligently use this information in authoritative and timely strategic advice for government decision making processes.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, across all mediums, and for people across the entire range of staff up to executive level.
- Strong project management skills and project governance experience for complex time critical projects including experience of procurement and management of consultants.
- High level written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present major and complex reports, discussion papers, advice notes, submissions, and government correspondence.

You will enjoy working within a harmonious team, were communication flows freely and you actively engage across the system.It will be beneficial if you possess experience and knowledge of Queensland Health digital systems, eHealth strategy, and an understanding of building construction as it pertains to digital systems and equipment, including the Queensland Health Capital Infrastructure Requirements (CIR) is highly advantageous, but not mandatory.Relevant qualification in Project Management, ICT and / or an industry certification in project methodologies, such as PRINCE2, MSP and PMBOK, is not mandatory but would be well regarded.Please note: Although you will work primarily out of the Brisbane offices, there may be a need to travel to site.
