The Opportunity:

We're on the lookout for a hands-on ICT Lead to join our National IT Division in Brisbane. This full-time role is pivotal to ensuring the continuity, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure across the business. You'll be working closely with both internal teams and external partners, including Amey, to drive innovation and operational excellence.

This is a Brisbane-based role, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with occasional travel to other locations.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related field.
  • 10+ years of ICT experience, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience working with external service providers.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for technology.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day ICT operations aligned with our mission and values.
  • Maintain and optimise internal infrastructure including laptops, desktops, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phone systems, security tools, applications, and networks.
  • Provide hands-on technical support across the organisation, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Manage procurement of IT hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Collaborate with external ICT providers to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
  • Partner with Amey to develop and implement growth strategies and ICT processes.
  • Assist in ICT budgeting and financial planning.
  • Contribute to the development of short- and long-term ICT roadmaps and strategies
