**What we have on offer**
The Collections department is an integral part of the Pepper business, providing a range of services and expertise in a fast-paced environment. The purpose of the Loss Mitigation team is to moderate company loss through the management of the mortgage Enforcement and Recovery process.
We are seeking a Team Leader to join the Loss Mitigation team to provide oversight of team activity as well as leadership for an already high-performing team.
- Maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external parties including solicitors, property presenters, and other vendors.
- Act as the decision maker on Enforcement and Mortgage in Possession matters.
- Lead a high-performing team through coaching, performance reviews and taking on any escalations where necessary.
- Ensure default Notice Requests and Statement of Claim, Judgment, Eviction instructions are issued without error and within set time frame.
- Maintain a complete oversight of Mortgagee in Possession properties and manage Loss Provisions.
- Being creative yet compliant in your solutions as we truly work towards providing options for.
- Create and maintain processes to minimise fraud, credit, and operational losses in the organisation.
- Reporting on a variety of different metrics, providing insight to internal and external parties.
**About you**
- Have experience in Mortgage Enforcement and Recoveries for a Minimum of 3 years.
- Outstanding relationship management skills as you deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comprehensive litigation and mortgage in possession knowledge.
- Negotiation and empathy skills are a must as you work through escalations accordingly.
- Proven leadership experience
