**How will I Help?**
As the Team Leader you will be a key Member of the Home Ownership Services Team within the Group Operations, Property & Commercial Services (GOPCS) and your role is paramount to helping contribute the delivery of Westpac’s vision.

**Key Accountabilities include**:

- Being responsible for and participating in building a proud culture that is passionate and high-performing in delivering improvements that exceed customer needs, financial targets and balanced with meeting compliance requirements
- Communicate, collaborate and continually partner with the greater Home Ownership Services business areas to achieve: our customer, people and strategic deliverables, Responsible Lending outcomes, safe and healthy working environment
- Role model the leadership star, coach, and foster teams to be collaborative and high performing
- Proactively contribute to innovation and continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiency, risk and compliance outcomes by working closely with cross-functional teams across the organisation
- Have strong technical and legislative knowledge and a detailed understanding of all up to date policies and procedures, with a strict adherence to compliance requirements, regulations and process timeliness
- Implement key strategic initiatives in line with the Home Ownership Services strategy to drive the best customer experience

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you will need:

- Strong knowledge and understanding of Banking Consumer products, processes and policies
- Relevant systems knowledge as appropriate to the role
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated Leadership experience
