**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources team in the role of Employee Relations Specialist. You will be responsible for providing expert services to ensure the management of complex HR matters. You will be experienced and enjoy providing specialist advice regarding Industrial Relations, Performance Management and Workplace Health and Safety matters. This role could be your stepping stone to a future in HR management or an Executive capacity.

**About You**

To be successful in the role you will be able to:

- Provide specialist advice regarding Industrial Relations, Performance Management and Workplace Health and Safety matters.
- Undertake investigations and reviews relating to workplace and employee relations matters and provide advice to managers on critical and complex employee relations matters.
- Support the HR Manager to deliver services in accordance with the HR strategy, achieving appropriate targets and implementing measures to address gaps identified through the delivery of specialist advice provided.
- Assist with the development and facilitation of staff training to address key workplace, industrial and employee relations issues identified within the business.
- Assist with the review of existing HR policies and identify improvements to procedures and structures and drive continuous improvement processes.
- Prepare high quality well written reports to a large number of stakeholders including to the Chief People Officer, the CEO, the Executive, the Board and to external stakeholders such as Tribunals.
- Maintain and improve organisational culture through handling staff issues with sensitivity, integrity, and ethics.
- Undertake HR and employee and industrial relations related project work as directed.
- Adhere to the Quality and Safety Management System and assist with continuous improvement activities.

You will also be required to:

- Hold a current driver’s licence;
- Have a minimum of a Bachelor qualifications in HR, Law, Management or similar and 5 years relevant experience.

**Remuneration**

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
