- Attractive VPS 4 salary between $90,067 - $102,192 + 10% superannuation
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Creative and Digital Products Manager, your key accountabilities will include:
- Developing new and existing digital user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity designs to ensure the digital products meet relevant usability and accessibility standards
- Driving the design thinking of digital platforms and developing content rich assets that leverage and offer digital solutions, onsite, online and beyond the physical spaces
- Leading project teams and working with vendors to deliver design solutions within the agreed timeframe, budget and scope
- Working with Content Producers to ensure content design is appropriately employed within the digital landscape, considering the user's journey through the Library digital ecosystem
- Ideation of immersive, innovative and best practice digital design assets and solutions that provide an engaging, accessible user experience

About you
- Proficient in Adobe XD and sound knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep understanding of the interactions between design, digital technologies, user experience and frontend development processes in relation to the development of content management system (CMS) templates that utilise modern CSS, HTML5 and responsive libraries
- Ability to use UX tools to identify the needs of users and informing the design process
- Significant experience working in digital design, digital production or multimedia
- Experience implementing innovative design across visual media platforms, ideally in an agile environment
- Knowledge of one or more project management methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to develop team capability and improve knowledge, skills and ability of others
- A collaborative problem solver with a customer-centric approach and a creative flair
- Ability to adapt and manage changing and competing priorities
- A recognised tertiary qualification in digital media, graphic design, visual communication, creative arts or a relevant discipline and/or equivalent professional experience working as a UX/UI or digital designer in a digital or advertising agency, or in-house
- A valid Working with Children Check card or ability to obtain one prior to commencement
