**What’s the role all about?**

Ready for your new challenge? Our growing Energy and Utilities business are looking for a new Financial Analyst to join the team. This exciting new in the Finance team will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance and will be based out of our Melbourne office. The main purpose of the role is to provide effective planning, analysis and advice on financial aspects & risk management including stakeholder management, compliance policy & group management, and continuous improvement of the EU ANZ finance function.

- Provide support to functions in the development of Business Strategy including supporting M&A activities (where applicable), understanding market trends and challenges including sustainability, development and international macro-trends that may impact Downer
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Analyse, review, interpret and report on internal data with a focus on performance, cost and targets
- Willingness to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels, both internally and externally
- Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology
- Provide support to E&U Finance Performance team and other key stakeholders as required in ensuring the appropriate financial structures, initiatives and processes are in place to enable key targets and requirements are met
