Scrum Master - 6 month contract with opportunity to be extended - Sydney CBD location
**Your new company**
Our client is a leading distributer of electricity in Australia. Their network is made up of substations, powerlines, underground cables and power poles throughout NSW, and on a day to day actively operate, maintain, repair and build their electricity network.
**Your new role**
As Scum Master / Release Train Engineer you will be responsible for leading the Agile Release Train and coordinating Scrum teams on agile initiatives. You will help drive benefits tracking and optimisation though tangible and reportable metric and also focus on relentless improvement and delivery of value through the ART.
Your role is to focus on value driven delivery through continuous assessment of the delivery pipeline. You will act as Scrum Master on Agile initiatives, working with the Product Owner and Scrum Teams on planning Sprints and managing user stories. Work with stakeholders and Scrum teams to help ensure strategic alignment to delivery and identify and manage risk and issues, and drive relentless improvement.
You will facilitate the Agile Release Train (ART) events such as PI planning, showcases etc. and establish and manage the annual calendars for Program Increments (PIs) and Scrum lifecycles.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in leading Agile Release Trains and ART events
- Hands on experience as a Scrum Master on small to medium projects
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- SAFE Agile certified is highly desirable
