**Who are we looking for?**

We have an opportunity for a **People Business Partner **to join our close-knit team based in **Adelaide **. Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner with their business counterparts, you will provide not only operational support, but also thought leadership on strategic HR programs and initiatives to improve business performance.

**In this diverse and varied position, you will**:

- Participate in the implementation of the People business plan and is responsible for the execution of the plan within their dedicated business groups
- Support the business by planning, and executing People plans and strategic solutions that result in successful business outcomes
- Partner with Regional Business Group Leaders (BGL's) to understand business priorities and talent needs to proactively respond both strategically and tactically as required to meet business needs
- Participate and support the creation and implementation of people programs, strategies, and plans in consideration of your function’s priorities
- Collaborate with the People Centres of Excellence to influence the design of new and existing HR programs, practices, and process
- Work with Leaders to collaboratively develop actions to build a high-performance culture and increase staff wellbeing and engagement
- Support the Regional People Leader with the execution and day-to-day management of change plans within the Region in support of business priorities
- Evaluate and handle escalated Employee Relations issues as they arise
- Provide support for national/global projects

**About you**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications - in HR, Industrial Relations, Business Administration with experience preferably gained from a professional service environment
- Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of people advice
- Credible relationship management with the proven ability to exercise discretion with confidential and sensitive matters
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Presentation and project management skills

This role is a permanent role which can be either part time or full time but must be based in Adelaide
