We are currently seeking experienced Team Leaders with a proven track record in managing and operating Assisted Independent Living Facilities. This role involves working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing challenges such as traumatic brain injuries, disability, and physical impairment. As a Team Leader, you will collaborate with the SIL House Manager while also independently managing your team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leadership and Supervision: Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Supervise and support staff members, offering guidance and mentoring to ensure they deliver compassionate and person-centred care.
- Resident Care: Ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents are met, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.
- Compliance and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and company policies. Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the group home environment, implementing appropriate protocols for emergencies or incidents.
- Staff Training and Development: Organise and facilitate training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff members. Promote continuous professional development, ensuring that the team remains up to date with best practices and industry trends.
- Communication: Facilitate open and effective communication channels among team members, residents, families, and other stakeholders. Keep all relevant parties informed about resident progress, changes in care plans, and any significant developments within the group homes.
- Problem-Solving: Address challenges and conflicts that may arise within the team or with residents in a constructive manner. Implement proactive solutions to enhance the overall functioning of the group homes.
- Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care, staff schedules, incident reports, and other administrative tasks related to the group homes' operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a group home or similar care setting.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing group home operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with residents, staff, families, and external stakeholders.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards resident care.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage challenging situations with professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Pay rate: $33.74 (hourly pay rate)**
- Rates for evening and weekend shifts will be applied._

**Schedule**:

- 3 x floor shifts
- 2 x admin shifts + on call hours

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: From $34.90 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
