**About the role**:
This is an exciting career opportunity for someone passionate about agriculture with a desire to progress themselves and GrainCorp in the Animal Nutrition and Agri Energy markets. You will manage contracts and support our wider Animal Nutrition and Agri Energy teams in delivering for our customers whilst contributing to GrainCorp’s ESG goals. You’ll also learn skills in bulk logistics and demonstrate an ability to execute physical trades.
Initially the role will focus on ensuring that our customers experience is at the highest level. As a member of our logistics and administration team you will be primarily responsible for logistics coordination of particular products, bulk liquid commodities or regions as agreed with management and the other members of the small logistics team.
A willingness to cross skill between team members is paramount to ensure customers are supported.
**About your experience**
- Experience in Agricultural or a related sector such as logistics, procurement or supply chain management
- Knowledge of bulk logistics
- IT Systems skills with the ability to quickly understand inventory management systems e.g. Agtech (formally Smartsoft) and SAP
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, numeracy and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small team and problem-solve
- Highly organised with the ability to proactively manage multiple tasks at various levels and stages
- High level of attention to detail
- Commercial acumen
