The **Finance Analyst **role will help support the Pinnacle International & Wholesale Team, a growing part of the overall Pinnacle business responsible for domestic wholesale and international external sales.

This role will report to the Finance Manager (Pinnacle International and Wholesale), and partner with the Head of International and Wholesale.

A dynamic role within a growth area of business covering commercial partnering, financial reporting and process improvement, requiring close teamwork with sales, operations and other stakeholders.

**Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role**
- Support and partner the Head of International and Wholesale and supporting leadership team in the development of the International and Wholesale plan
- Drive and support the annual operating budget with the team across International and Wholesale
- Support a “no-surprises” forecasting process across the International and Wholesale portfolio including the identification of risks and opportunities
- Support the International and Wholesale team on commercial matters as and when necessary (e.g. product pricing, volume, rate & mix analysis etc)
- Support the assessment of portfolio performance through diagnostics on performance vs targets and assessing promotional effectiveness
- On an interim basis, oversee the preparation of GL reconciliation and responsibility for clearing of reconciliation items, preparation of journals to ensure all month end transactions are posted into the general ledger and Payments and Customer Accounts Reconciliation including the follow up of overdue balances
- Matrix-style partnership required in order to support the team with other Pinnacle finance team members given the E2E view of International and Wholesale cuts across wine making (Vinpac) and Paragon
- Working closely with Pinnacle and Endeavour retail finance teams to simplify business processes, enhance insight and realise synergy

**Qualifications** Now let’s talk about you**
- Minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience
- Sound commercial finance experience
- Degree qualification and CA/CPA/CIMA or undertaking
- Systems & Tools - ERP (D365, SAP), BPC, GCP and Power BI experience
- Advanced Data foundation Excel/Google Sheets capability
- Ability to business partner effectively to drive outcomes
- Strong communication and influencing skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to think critically and see ‘the big picture’
- Ability to operate with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical capability
- Retail, FMCG and/or liquor industry experience (desirable)
