The work of the Cancer, Hearing and Chronic Conditions Division (CHCCD) ensures that Australians have access to evidence-based, best practice programs and initiatives that deliver positive health outcomes for Australians through the provision of high-quality policy analysis, advice, program implementation and management.
To work in an exciting area like this in the Health Department, at the forefront of the health reform, policy and national implementation, we are seeking individuals with an aptitude for policy development, policy implementation, skills and delivery of program outcomes, as well as your passion and enthusiasm to be part of the exciting work undertaken in the division. The culture of the division is collaborative and engaging, we work with a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders. CHCCD is fast paced, our work is rewarding and our environment is supportive. The CHCCD will value your skills to ensure effective delivery of our work, share knowledge and provide opportunity for professional growth.
We currently have roles across both policy and program development across all our Branches. Our policy staff are responsible for developing strategic policy advice based on latest evidence to inform the delivery of best practice care and support health services in Australia. Our staff who work in program delivery are responsible for implementing and administering these important priorities, in line with election commitments and budget measures.
