**Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator**
**Full Time Salary**

**The opportunity**:
At Village Roadshow Studios, safety is paramount The Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety plans and strategies, ensuring compliance with OHS standards and legislation.

**Your day to day**:

- Develop, implement and manage OHS policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards
- Manage OHS audits to ensure the workplace is compliant, while also identifying and cultivating opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support injury management and activities and manage Works Compensation claims and associated processes
- Identify OHS training needs and implement and deliver training programs as required
- Coordinate Studios Safety Committee Meetings by developing yearly schedules and comprehensive meeting agenda
- Update all Studios OHS documentation, ensuring compliance and up to date records
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of an internal health and wellbeing program for staff
- Liasie with production OHS departments to ensure Studios Operations Manual is adhered to and complete regular safety checks in and around stages for insurance purposes.
- Any smoke isolation permits, from production, co-ordinate process, procedures, training with specific teams
- Undertake any OHS related tasks or projects as required from time to time

**What you’ll bring**:

- Cert IV in Workplace Healthy and Safety
- Knowledge and experience in OHS, risk management and change management processes and practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated computer proficiency with word, excel, goole docs, spreadsheets and rehabilitation management software
- Excellent communication is essential
