**The Role**

Mineral Resources, Safety team within Crushing and Processing is expanding, we’re seeking two experience Safety Advisors to join us on an 8x6 roster from Perth. The role will see you travelling across various sites in Western Australia servicing not only our own sites but other tier one mining houses.

Reporting directly through to the Safety Manager for Crushing and Processing, you will play an integral part in the contribution of promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work ethic and safety culture.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide advice and assistance to ensure compliance with relevant WA statutory requirements, Codes of Practice, MRL processes and Procedures
- Identifying risk and non-compliance issues for field-based activities to ensure risks are known and mitigated
- Implementing OHS critical risk management programs
- Coach and mentor frontline leaders and management in workplace inspections
- System auditing to verify compliance against MinRes safety standards & legislative requirements
- Interpret safety data, incident investigation and injury management cases
- Promote and participating in all safety related forums and programs

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in the mining/ processing environment
- Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, mentoring and developing diverse teams
- Strong understanding of Safety Management and a positive approach to implementation and execution of pragmatic management systems
- TapRooT / ICAM experience is desirable
