The Role You Could Play
As a Marketing Lead, you are responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of omni-channel marketing initiatives across key category and brand initiatives, ensuring all activity ladders up to the broader MECCA category strategies and MECCA Brand DNA.
You’ll own day-to-day brand relationships, lead key brand projects from brief through to execution, and manage priorities across multiple timelines. Building strong cross-functional partnerships with Brands & Buying and Marketing Channel teams is essential, as you shape marketing strategies aligned to MECCA Customer Activity Calendar and each brand’s unique positioning and business objectives.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of brand campaigns across MECCA’s portfolio
- Partner with Brands & Buying to shape monthly priorities and ensure alignment with category strategies
- Act as the central contact for key brands, managing strategic briefs, campaign development, and cross-functional collaboration across Creative, Content, and Digital teams
- Drive omni-channel activations (Events, PR, Influencer, Digital, VM), ensuring timely delivery, brand alignment, and premium execution
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans for strategic brands, in partnership with internal stakeholders and brand partners
- Represent and advocate for brand needs, ensuring plans reflect both MECCA’s strategic goals and brand DNA
- Deliver post-campaign reporting and insights to inform future planning and elevate performance
- Lead marketing initiatives at a category and sub-category level, driving growth through storytelling, innovation, and market trend analysis
- Contribute to planning meetings and support weekly trade updates with marketing solutions and pivots
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across internal teams and external brand partners
- Ensure transparent, proactive communication of priorities and campaign progress
- Act as a connector within the marketing team, supporting integrated and efficient plan delivery
What You Will Bring
As a Marketing Lead you will independently drive brand marketing initiatives, you will also support the strategic direction of the category contributing to the growth by supporting category-led marketing plans. Success in this role relies on strong project ownership, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance creative ambition with commercial focus.
You will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 4+ years of marketing experience within a high-performing brand or agency environment, ideally with omni-channel retail exposure.
- Proven success in delivering strategic, multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable impact.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to influence and present ideas clearly across varying levels and team environments.
- Strong project management capabilities - able to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Entrepreneurial and growth-focused - always looking for new opportunities to evolve brand presence and campaign impact.
- Solutions-oriented and pragmatic - thrives on finding creative ways forward, even in challenging or ambiguous situations.
