We’re looking for a prudent and responsible **Payroll Consultant** of high integrity to be responsible for the delivery of an accurate, secure and fully compliant fortnightly payroll. This critical role focuses on providing a high quality end to end employee experience and process optimisation across the employee lifecycle.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Processing the end to end fortnightly payroll and associated activities
- Reconciling all payroll activities including superannuation, leave liability and end of financial year processes
- Proactively responding to changes to legislation impacting pay
- Maintaining accurate data and providing regular reporting
- Regularly reviewing processes to identify, develop and implement process improvements
- Managing relationships with key payroll stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to greater leverage the support of Central People Services in the provision of a high quality employee experience across the employee lifecycle
**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- A high level of proficiency of Payroll system experience - ADP and Workday - highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and current working knowledge of Fair Work Act and its impacts on employee entitlements
- Exposure to general ledger and HR system interface - nice to have
- Strong employee experience focus with an excellent eye for detail and high level of accuracy skills with a flexible approach; open to new ideas, new ways of working and optimization
- Analytical and problem solving skills; a team player who is capable of using their own initiative; taking every opportunity to step in and being proactive - looking forward
- High integrity, confidentiality, logic and ethics with the ability to work to tight deadlines and in high pressure situations; experience in Financial Services or working with general HR disciplines will be highly desirable
