Custom Air Group is an established business 33 years strong, specialising in Design, Manufacture, Supply & Installation of Custom, Sleeper Cab Air Conditioning Systems & Customised Sleeper Cabin Fit outs. Our Head Office & Factory is based in **Somerton Victoria**.

We have several divisions that make up our company which cover Design, Metal Fabrication, Assembly, Painting, Installation & Upholstery.

Due to the continued growth of our company, we currently have an opportunity for a Motivated & Suitably **Experienced** - **Automotive Air Conditioning Installer / Fitter** to join our **Wacol, Brisbane Queensland** workshop team with any of the below preferred qualifications and attributes.

This role requires a self-motivated, responsible person with excellent trade qualities & Communication skills who is able to work unsupervised and as a part of a team, reporting direct to the Workshop Manager.

This person will as required be completing Air Conditioning Installations on Heavy Vehicles, Custom kit Installations to sleeper Cabin Interiors as required.

**To be successful, You will possess**:

- **Previous Experience** in a similar role or competitor preferred
- Excellent Mechanical Knowledge & ability
- Previous motor mechanic or similar experience, an advantage.
- Experience as a vehicle accessory fitter an advantage
- Automotive electrical experience an advantage but not essential
- Experience in using hand/ cordless tools etc.
- Own Hand tools an advantage
- Experience with Air operated tooling
- Ability to work Un-supervised
- Ability to problem solve
- Be clean & well presented
- Display strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Be highly motivated, willing to learn and advance yourself.
- Be available to start immediately.

This person will need to have a current Australian Car Drivers License. A HR Truck license is an advantage, but not essential.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
