Reporting to the Supervisor / Team Leader, Drake Group WA Service Technician’s are well-respected and skilled members of the workshop team.

**Authority & Responsibility**:

- Carry out tasks as directed by the Supervisor, Leading Hands and/or Team Leader.
- Report faulty materials that do not conform to the company’s quality system, and report poor workmanship carried out by other staff
- Proper safe use of equipment, as trained and deemed competent

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Servicing & Repair of Trailers/Dollies - fit out of Hydraulics, Air & Electrical Systems
- Check and test work performed unassisted
- Maintain tools and equipment in an efficient and safe operating condition
- Ensure that specified requirements for all work processes are met
- Follow safe work methods
- Carry out procedures to keep factory areas clean and tidy
- Report non-conformance in work and materials, and opportunities for improvement, to the Workshop Supervisor
- General duties as required

**You will need**:

- Current trade qualification if required
- Competence in use of factory equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Forklift Ticket
- Current Driving Licence
- Attend trade upgrade courses where appropriate
