Amped Up Truck Electrical & Air Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team in Wacol, Queensland. As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the electrical systems of a variety of commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers and heavy machinery.

What you'll be doing

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues on trucks, trailers and heavy machinery
• Repair and replace electrical components, such as batteries, alternators, wiring harnesses and electrical control units
• Perform scheduled maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to prevent future breakdowns
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop

What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent trade qualification

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control modules

• Air conditioning and refrigeration licence preferred but not essential

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve electrical faults
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• A valid driver's licence
