Is a globally recognised business who specialise in the manufacturer and commissioning of mission critical security equipment.
They provide equipment sales and service maintenance contracts to a broad client base that includes anything from government agencies to commercial contracts, targeting End Users, Security Consultants or Systems Integrators.
**Your new role**
Will report to the Sales Director of the Australian and New Zealand business, and your role will involve you driving sales into some high growth markets of their security products.
The major focus for the role is targeting large bids and tenders in the Government & Defence industries, however also broadens to Commercial Buildings, Parliament & Court Houses, Prisons / Correctional Facilities and Data Centres.
The role is an individual contributor, strategic sales role, covering all of Australia and New Zealand as well as regional locations, so there is a high expectation of travel involved while you travel interstate looking to drive revenue line across both the specification sales and commissioning of security equipment on projects, as well as annuity revenue lines from selling service maintenance contracts.
The focus of the role is to target decision makers in the purchase of security equipment and service maintenance contracts that could range from dealing with the decision makers in the major Federal and State Government Departments, along with Heads of Engineering through to Procurement and Facilities Management professionals.
There is a mixture of both new infrastructure projects as well as remedial work and upgrades where you can target service and maintenance contracts when contract terms are up for renewal or equipment is approaching end of warranty
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a major pursuits-based sales targeting specifications on projects tendering to Federal and State Government clients as well the Commercial sector in chasing work in Parliament & Court Houses, Prisons / Correctional Facilities and Data Centres.
- Product knowledge of security-led capital equipment, or aligned critical systems equipment like Access Control, Building Management and Security Systems, Lifts & Elevators, etc
- Working relationships with the end users, security consultants and / or major systems integration businesses
- Experience selling to a regional client base across Australia and New Zealand

A competitive base salary, superannuation, and an excellent commission scheme that rewards the major pursuits nature of the role chasing large project sales. There is not a car allowance as a lot of travel is inter-state or cross-Tasman, however all travel expenses are covered.
