**About the role**

To provide leadership, direction and motivation to a new corporate sales team. Oversee sales budgets and ensure customer service standards are met. This role will lead a team of one.

**Key responsibilities**
- Preparing plans/strategies to ensure the teams corporate sales targets are met
- Analysing statistical data provided by Head Office to ascertain strengths and weaknesses of sales team and key accounts
- Manage and grow a sales team to achieve set budgets
- Make recommendations to senior management on:

- Product improvement
- Training needs
- Competitor activities
- Sales opportunities
- Compose routine correspondence to internal and external customers
- Provide general assistance to management
- Drive key relationships internally to ensure strategic direction and objectives are achieved
- Formal reporting to CMO rt health
- Operational
- Dealing with MGR team, KAM’s, Head Office, Management Teams, Representatives, Clients / Partners and administrative support
- Provides timely feedback to management regarding performance

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:

- Tertiary qualifications in sales or business related discipline (Preference for exposure within Transport, Energy or Public Services industry)
- Previous experience in sales management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities, organise workload and meet deadlines
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams
- Strong understanding of collaborative sales process as well as an understanding of customer/member and market dynamics and requirements
- Excellent coaching skills and ability to develop potential in employees
- Effective sales skills
- Operates well under pressure
