About the team and role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Sales / Sales Reporting Analyst focusing on Commission work stream at LexisNexis to join our Finance team. This role reports into our Senior Commercial Finance Manager and the team size involves 4 members who are spread across Sydney, Auckland and Manila. This is a permanent full-time role to be based in Chatswood, Sydney with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.

The prime purpose of this role is to create and maintain the Lexis Nexis Pacific Sales Variable Compensation Plan scheme (VCP) and be responsible for establishing and embedding the VCP processes to provide accuracy, governance and transparency on sales and business performance.

You will need to be motivated, determined, adaptable and solution oriented to expedite the VCP workflows, to deliver insights related to VCP drivers of performance and to communicate your findings clearly and concisely.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Produce and submit monthly commission payments.- Standardize the commission process both monthly and annually.- Create transparency through reporting and process streamlining.- Collaborate with the sales force in resolving disputes and addressing queries whilst managing escalations.- Driving the annual commission planning process along with Sales operations and Finance teams.- Create and maintain commission related documents, policy, calculation and other required documentations.- Perform commission related analysis and other adhoc tasks required.- Involve and support automation initiative/projects.- Support the Executive Manager Commercial Analytics and Sales Operation to drive annual sales target setting process and related analysis.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree qualified with 5+ years of Sales analyst and reporting experience, preferably in commission planning, calculation, and reporting- High proficiency in MS Excel (MS Access or database acumen preferable) with ability to use vlookup, pivot tables, formula will be highly advantageous.- Ability to create summary from large complex database, data filtering, data sorting.- Reporting tools like OBIEE, salesforce, CRM will be well regarded.- Ability to interact and communicate confidently with all levels and functions of the business is essential. This role will be interfacing with Sales, finance, operations, marketing and executive teams at different levels.- High attention to detail, accuracy with analytical mindset- Prior experience with automation or project management will be nice to have.
