**About the role**

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Safety leadership, which includes the modelling of appropriate behaviours and adherence to the Company’s HSE Management System. This will facilitate our aspirational goal of zero harm.
- Effective communication, including the building and maintaining of relationships, with internal and external stakeholders. This will lead to the incumbent being proactive in managing stakeholder expectations and business improvements.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in injury management and Work Cover claims management.

**The job requirements**:
Essential
- Tertiary Qualifications in HSE (Cert IV or above) with 3+ years’ experience in HSE, ideally within the mining/heavy industrial service industry.
- Return to work / Injury Management qualifications with 2+ years’ experience in an injury management role dealing with Work Cover claims.
- Demonstrable communication and relationship building skills.
- Mid-level computer literacy.
- Dangerous Goods & Hazardous Substances training

Desirable
- High Risk Work qualifications LF, CB, WP, RI
- Working safely at heights
- Cert IV Training & Assessment
- Chain of Responsibility (NHVS) exposure
- Audit qualifications
- MyOsh experience
