You will work closely with site teams to implement robust WHS strategies and controls, ensuring compliance and best practices are upheld at all times.
Must Haves:

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) and a current National Police Clearance.
- Current, valid Australian Driver's Licence.

- Proven skills in incident investigation, WHS auditing, hazard identification, risk assessment and control.
- Experience with WHS management systems/software (e.g. MYOSH, STEMS, INX, BMS, etc.).
The Role:

- Lead Job Safety Analyses (JSAs/JHAs) for high-risk tasks (e.g. heavy machinery, trenching, traffic management) and ensure critical controls are implemented.
- Manage work permit systems (hot works, confined space entry, live traffic) and coordinate safe work sequencing with site teams and supervisors.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes, prepare investigation reports and drive corrective actions.
- Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks on key safety topics (e.g. load securement, traffic safety, ground stability, fall protection) and maintain competency records.
- Support development and drills of emergency response plans (spill, fire and rescue) to ensure readiness.
- Monitor and report on site safety performance (e.g. monthly WHS metrics), analysing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct WHS audits and inspections to verify compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Coach supervisors and teams in hazard identification, risk assessment and safe task observations.
- Ensure site WHS practices and procedures comply with current legislation and industry best practices.
What's on Offer:
