**C&K Herston Road Long Day Care**, we are very lucky to have a natural outdoor area that provides children with an outlet to explore, engage and supports motor development. The children have a large natural space to be adventurous. Because we are so close to the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) we endeavour to build that community partnership and take excursions to their library, football fields and their newly developed picnic areas around the campus.
Our Centre is currently looking for an experienced and qualified **Educator** to join their team. As the Assistant, you would be responsible for implementing a quality care and education program in co-operation with the Group Leader in Nursery room.
You will be working on a **permanent part time basis up to 24 hours a week**. We are looking for an **educator** who can be flexible, and **work shifts between the hours of 6:30am - 6pm on rotating rosters**.

You will need to hold, or be willing to enrol and work towards
- **Assistant Educators: Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood**:
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
- A Police Check current within 3 months or willingness to obtain one
**If you are studying or hold a bachelor’s in education, you will also be eligible for our Educator roles.**
All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which includes a police check. Also, all C&K employees will need to have obtained their 1st and 2nd vaccinations for COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
