**About the role**:
- Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing production releases for both existing and new solutions, aligned with departmental methodology and change management protocols. The Lead works closely with cross-functional teams to gather release requirements and maintain a reliable release calendar.
- The role also manages CI/CD pipelines with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong technical skills are essential to implement automation tools and integrate testing into deployment workflows in collaboration with development teams.

**About you**:
**Can you Demonstrate?**
- Plan, coordinate, and execute production releases for all supported solutions via DevOps.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for release management.
- Establish and maintain release calendars, ensuring timely and reliable deployments.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
- Ensure compliance with government, eHealth, and ETB strategies and policies, including adherence to the PDM and other endorsed methodologies.
- These tasks involve specialised knowledge in DevOps, ITIL, automation, and release management, aligning with the Technical / Specialist value range.

**Qualifications**
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant Information Technology discipline is highly desirable.
**Specialist Expertise**
- Knowledge and experience of Agile Projects and methodologies.
- Extensive experience working with Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is essential.
