The Communications Lead will lead and manage the program's communication activities by developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the systems, practices and processes used to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

**About the Integrated Workforce Management Program**:
The Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) Program is a key strategic initiative for Queensland Health that will enhance the roster-to-pay process, deliver positive outcomes to support enhanced workforce management and drive the delivery of tangible benefits for both Hospital and Health Services (HHS) and the Department of Health, through improved tools, processes, and access to workforce decision-support information where and when it is needed.

**Your Key responsibilities**:

- Develop, coordinate, and implement communication strategies, tools, campaigns, and publications to support and promote the program business change activities and ensure consistency and a positive image for the program.
- Lead the development and delivery of key messages to the IWFM business including employees, customers, internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all key messaging and communication materials are consistent with endorsed processes and program expectations.
- Provide expert advice on issues that arise in relation to change and communications activities.
- Manage the delivery of communications activities and the establishment and management of specialised communications artefacts ensuring expected timeframes are met.
- Undertake risk and issues identification, assessment, and mitigation activities in line with key communication strategies ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed, and escalated as appropriate.
- Prepare plans, reports, submissions, briefing notes, and correspondence on a range of communication issues as required.
