Based at our Yatala Branch, the finance team is looking for a dynamic and experienced debt collections specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role and will be managing a significant portfolio of our debtors listing covering approximately 75% of our overall book.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Lead the end-to-end debt collection process of allocated portfolio ensuring timely and accurate debt collection.
- Lead a small team of debt collection officers who will assist you to meet your allocated debt collection KPI’s.
- Proficient in using accounting and CRM systems to manage and reconcile client accounts - Microsoft Dynamics would be highly advantageous.
- Direct contact with customers to collect outstanding debts owed. Monitoring overdue accounts to ensure timely resolution and payment. High volume of calls is expected.
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Identify process, system & service improvements to maximise debt collection and cash flow.

You will be an experienced, highly motivated and analytical minded Accounts Receivable / Collections professional who can manage a large portfolio of clients that prioritises attention to detail and accountability.

**To be successful at this role you must have**:

- 3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable or debt collections.
- Strong experience in Business-to-Business debt collection.
- Demonstrated experience in client account reconciliation using multiple large complex systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail knowledge of the debt collection and escalation processes.
- Ability to lead a small team setting individual targets and follow-up.
- Training of staff in the debt collection process to maximise their effectiveness.
