Accounts Receivable Officer

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a family owned, growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 17 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 140 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland, meaning we’re never too far away.
This role is responsible for negotiating the settlement of accounts within collection timelines whilst providing exceptional service to our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Debtor reconciliations and reporting.
- Build relationships with customers to streamline receivables.
- Promptly action and respond to customer queries.
- Liaising with branches with customer enquiries.
- Evaluating credit terms to minimise credit risk.
- Communicating and reporting to accounts receivable manager.
**Key Selection Criteria**
- 2+ years proven experience in a similar debt collection role.
- Excellent written, numeric, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Technology requirements - MYOB, Excel, Outlook
