**The Role**
Within the Base Support function an APS 6 Base Support Officer is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex base support, planning and coordination work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to ensure they have knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.

You will be working in Australian Special Operations Command.

You will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage and enhance relationships with local stakeholders. You are comfortable working alone and managing your workload effectively. You will actively seek our responsibility and are accountable for your work. Ultimately, you will aim to be a highly valued, trusted and integral part of the team.
You have knowledge of and experience with compliance, the requisite legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements. You also have experience in dealing with the various stakeholders that interact with defence base support. You also have a proven track record of managing relationships and stakeholder expectations.
