Career progression opportunities across a national footprint

**Production Manager - Clontarf, QLD**

**Full Time | Competitive Salary | Career Growth | National Business**

**Do you have a background in manufacturing and want to make a difference in an environment that encourages initiative and contiunous improvement?**

**About CMTP**

CMTP is Australia’s leading and most respected timber and packaging manufacturer. We have been a proud family-owned business since 1976, and today we operate across 12 sites nationally, delivering timber and packaging solutions to some of the biggest names in the country.

We’ve recently acquired a new manufacturing site in Clontarf, QLD, and we’re looking for a hands-on Production Manager to help lead the team, roll out our systems and culture, drive performance, and help develop the next generation of CMTP leaders.

**The Role**
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the site. That includes:

- Leading, coaching, and mentoring a production team of both permanent and casual staff.
- Ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets are not only met — but improved.
- Driving process improvements and reducing downtime through smart, efficient planning.
- Supporting the installation of new equipment and implementing best-practice systems.
- Being hands-on, visible on the floor and leading by example.
- Working with senior management to set targets and deliver real results.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Proven leadership in a manufacturing or production environment (timber knowledge a bonus).
- A calm, capable operator who thrives in change and gets things done.
- Someone who embraces challenges and backs themselves to solve problems.
- Great with people — you build trust, set high standards, and help others grow.
- Mechanically minded, computer literate and always willing to learn.
- Strong understanding of safety systems, SOPs and risk assessments.
- Most importantly — someone who doesn’t sit back and watch but gets stuck in and leads from the front.

**Our Leadership Core Values - We Live Them, Every Day**
At CMTP, we don’t just display our values - we live and reward them.

**We are givers, not takers** - We support each other and pull our weight.

**We make it happen, no excuses** - We own the outcome and find a way.

**We are leaders, not followers** - We set the pace and drive improvement.

**Down to earth, no bullshit** - We’re straight up, honest and respectful.

**We care, share and have fun** - We look out for each other and enjoy the ride.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely _fits_ this culture — not just someone looking for another job.

**Why Join CMTP?**
- Be part of a high-performing national business with strong values and a clear purpose.
- Take ownership of a site with massive opportunity for growth and impact.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Long-term career path and internal promotions across 12 Australian sites.
- Great people, great equipment, and a no-nonsense culture that gets results.
- Regular BBQs, team events, and a company that believes in working hard and enjoying it.

If you’re ready to step into a role with real ownership, where you’ll be trusted, supported and expected to deliver — we’d love to hear from you.
Submit your CV and cover letter via the **APPLY** button.
