**About the role**:
The Road Policing Drug and Alcohol Section (RPDAS) Operations unit is responsible for the deployment of alcohol and drug buses across Victoria. The Tasking and Coordination (T&C) office supports this through site allocation, bus and member rostering, accommodation bookings, intelligence collection, and various other administrative tasks.
With direct involvement on operational policing duties, the Administrative Support Officer reports to the T&C Team Leader, providing administrative support to the T&C office as well as backup and support for RPDAS administration and reception. The suitable applicant needs to be highly organised and motivated, display workplace resilience and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You are required to be able to use your organisational skills to manage your office space and your time as you will collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

**Your duties will include**:
- Assisting the Senior Administration Assistant with Probationary Constable rostering and deployment
- Regular and post-operation reporting
- Collation and audit of bus sites and highway patrol units
- Recording and auditing of ADTV sites and deployments
- General administration/reception duties including switchboard management, brief and correspondence entries, and sorting and distributing mail
- Collation and distribution of deployment notices
**About You**:
- High level written and verbal communication
- Interpersonal skills and ability to engage across varying stakeholder groups including both sworn and VPS employees
- High level IT skills, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Impeccable time management
- A willingness to learn and a friendly disposition
