Strategic Workforce Project Officer

The Department of Customer Service is looking for a Project Manager to join our team
- Temporary full-time opportunity (6 months with the possibility of extension)
- DCS Clerk 11/12 (starting from $134,411 - $155,445 base plus superannuation)
- Excellent leave entitlements: 20 days annual leave, up to additional 26 days flexible leave and five days compassionate leave

- performing and progressive People Partnerships team across our Digital, Corporate Services & Revenue Portfolio.

**About the Opportunity**

The Project Manager will lead and support an exciting new project to help us implement a strategic workforce planning program. Your skills and experience in leading projects will help us to ensure the work is completed on time, within budget, to quality standards and as per agreed scope.

This role requires working closely with the Director, Senior Executives and team members on the delivery of the project, ensuring the benefits of the program are realised by the business.

***What you will bring**:

- Extensive experience in managing medium to complex projects in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant project management qualifications or equivalent. This includes extensive knowledge and demonstrates experience ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed
- Highly developed analytical skills including ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, exercise independent judgement in a dynamic environment, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused and innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high-volume environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
- Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with previous experience engaging, collaborating, and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders in a variety of settings, including experience with facilitating meetings & workshops.
- Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow and
