**Your responsibilities will include**:
You will lead a team of 6 employees that covers the following areas:
- Accounts Payable
- Credit card administration and expense reconsiliation
- Customer invoicing and Accounts Receivables
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations
As well as overseeing and supporting day to day operations, you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and enforcement of operating procedures.
The role will also work closely with the Finance Manager and be an important contributor to month-end close, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, system upgrades, and financial audits.
You will be responsible for all aspects of people management for your direct reports including employee recruitment, training, motivation, performance assessment and performance management.
**About you**:
- Experience in a corporate finance function including:
- Supplier invoice processing and management
- Global intercompany transactions
- Credit card/expense claim systems
- Online banking tools
- End of month accounting and general ledger reconciliations
- Intermediate to advanced skills and experience in the use of MS Office including Excel
- Diploma or other tertiary qualifications in an accounting related discipline
As well as the above you will also require:
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels
- Ability to work as an effective team member in a professional environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to plan and organise
- Strong internal customer focus
