**The Role**
Working within Navy Training Force [TF]; the HR Advisor’s primary function is to enable the efficient and effective use of Training Force resources. The position is critical in providing advice on and support of the employment conditions, people policies and guidelines and the capability development frameworks that drive our diversity and inclusion strategies to support TFs capability.

The role is responsible for the information that guides the allocation of ADF/APS positions, reporting and the identification of gaps and opportunities to meet capability requirements. This also includes the support and provision of advice to managers and employees on matters relating to: diversity and inclusion, learning and development, skills analysis, workforce planning and HR issues or workplace relations.

**About our Team**
The HR Advisor is a team leader within the Business Enterprise Management Team, Training Force Headquarters. This team delivers centralised business management functions, and has personnel geographically located around Australia with regional areas, with responsibility to support the delivery of training to our mariners.

Reporting to the Deputy Director Business and Resource Management, within the Business Enterprise Management Team, Training Force Headquarters, this role will work with other team members who are geographically dispersed.
- A passion for, and experience in HR and providing HR Services to personnel and managers who are geographically dispersed,
- Be able to manage a challenging workload across a broad HR portfolio with quality and a high attention to details,
- Have outstanding customer service skills and be able to demonstrate they can build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of seamless HR services that continues to meet the changing needs of our customers,
- Have a solutions-focused approach and be able to demonstrate initiative, innovation and agility to ensure the Defence workforce is well positioned to deliver Government priorities, and
- Have the ability to deal with HR issues and change in a proactive, positive and dynamic way.
