**Richmond location, Wurundjeri Country (Office based 2 payroll days per fortnight essential, remainder hybrid environment)**:

- ** Part time 3 days per week, fixed term position until February 2026 (parental leave cover)**:

- **Base salary starts at $85K (pro rata) plus super and salary packaging**

**The Opportunity**

The Payroll Officer will have a key role within the HR Operations team, ensuring the efficient and accurate running of the fortnightly payrolls as well as administering and maintaining the payroll system and responding to employee queries with support and supervision.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure the efficient and accurate running of the fortnightly payrolls
- Run associated reports and complete calculations
- Maintain and administer the payroll system (iChris & EmpLive).
- Respond to enquiries and helpdesk in a timely manner

**About You**

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, including working well within a team and the ability to network and build relationships with stakeholders and other regions.

Experience with iChris is highly desirable, with additional experience in programs such as EmpLive advantageous

Overall you will have a genuine desire to support our employees so they in turn, can provide the best outcomes for the children and young people that Berry Street supports.
