About the business:
Each year, we produce a variety of fun and unique events mostly in Sydney but also around Australia, so there's always something cool we're working towards here.
Our office in the Rocks is designed like a comfy home and has a good vibe. Team spirit is very important here and we are a bunch of enthusiastic individuals, with one common goal, delivering the best and working hard to achieve our goals. If you are after a 9 to 5 job, we work in events, so it’s not the reality of our industry. Saying that, the job comes with big perks to compensate for the extra hours you would have to put in from time to time.
Job description:
We are looking for an event manager to oversee and organise events (large festivals, Outdoor Cinema events and brand activations). You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan events and activation from start to finish
- Prepare budgets and ensure adherence by your team
- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Coordinate operations and contractors before, during, and after the event
- Look after all relevant event documentation (Event management plans, engineering, contracts...)
- Step up to resolve any problems that might occur on site or at the office
- Analyse the event’s success and prepare reports and provide feedback
**Requirements**:
- 4+ years proven experience as event manager
- Records of project management and logistic planning skills
- Proven ability to deal with oversea suppliers and oversee international shipping
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Top organisational and management skills
- A knack for problem-solving
- A team player with leadership skills
- Experience in events, Festivals and outdoor activations.
Bonus if:
- Tech-savvy and/or a jack of all trades
- Love events, people, and pets

Salary / Contract:
Full-time - permanent contract.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
**Experience**:
- Events management: 4 years (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
