Join a Federal Government department located in Canberra. Your varied role will work autonomously across all aspects of commercial and procurement management within your division.

**Your new role**

Where required, your role will provide advice, guidance, and support to a range of stakeholders. You will be responsible for upholding the integrity of the procurement process while assessing and minimising the risks involved. Additional duties include:

- Prepare and manage procurement documentation and contracts in accordance with department and Australian Government standards and templates.
- Manage the financial management system on behalf of the Division, including forecast and budget procurement activities, and payment of invoices.
- As required, prepare briefing and associated other materials to support the broader work of the Division, including making contributions to policy development, program and project management, and communications and engagement activities.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Understanding and implementation of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and procedures including the Indigenous Procurement Policy
- Extensive experience in all aspects of government procurement processes and management
- TechnologyOne skills

**What you'll get in return**

This is an hourly rate contract role for a period of up to 12 months with a possible extension. Contracting rates can be offered between $65 - $75 + super per hour, depending on experience.
