We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Contract Manager (EL1) and Procurement and Contracts Officer(APS6)** to join our Procurement and Corporate Services branch. As a leader in procurement and contract management, you will be responsible for providing high-quality advice and support to internal stakeholders and business areas.
**Key Responsibilities**:
EL1 Contract Manager:
- Provide a combined education and business intelligence function to identify upcoming issues that require action, further advice or forward planning.
- Work collaboratively with business areas and manage a team to ensure services continue to be delivered to Agency staff.
- Lead an integrated approach to identifying procurement and/or contract improvements requirements early in the process.
- Ensure procurement and contract management activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements and the Procurement Policy.
- Deliver support and advice in relation to compliance with the Procurement Framework and Agency policies and procedures.
- Manage regular policy and process reviews for continuous business improvement.
APS6 Procurement and Contracts Officer:
- Work collaboratively with business areas and manage a small team to ensure services continue to be delivered to Agency staff.
- Manage and undertake contract reporting and verification activities and process invoices through the financial management system.
- Maintain and implement procurement and contract management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Contribute to procurement planning activities within the wider Procurement Team and across the Agency.
- Provide contract management advice and ensure procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements and the Procurement Policy.
- Provide quality and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders, including guidance and reporting to the Branch Leadership and the Executive Leadership Team.
- Monitor and progress work area activities to achieve work area objectives, ensuring consistent and high-quality outputs and maintaining team cohesion.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Previous Procurement and Contract Management experience is essential, preferably in a Government Agency or Department.
- Experience delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR's).
- SAP experience is preferred.
