**About the role**:
We are seeking experienced administrative assistants to join our legal support services team to support Lawyers, Crown Prosecutors and other various internal/external stakeholders in our busy Gosford and Newcastle office.

Key accountabilities may include:

- Preparation of case files and briefs and allocate appeals to the legal support team.
- Manage the Short Matters roster.
- Manage the Conviction Appeals document.
- Case manage matters requiring attention (usually part heard matters).
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to short matters.
- Check District Court list against MATTERS.
- Provide assistance to Manager Legal Support where required, and providing general legal support such as drafting correspondence, photocopying, records and supply management.
- Please note that a talent pool will be created to fill ongoing and temporary vacancies for part time and full-time positions which may arise in Newcastle and Gosford over the next 18 months._

**About you**:

- Demonstrated significant experience in the delivery of clerical support services.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
