**About the role**
As a Legal Support Officer (Level 2), you will provide ODPP staff, including Lawyers, and Crown Prosecutors with high quality administrative support in the delivery of an effective and efficient prosecution service.
Do you have strong administration experience? This is a fantastic opportunity to join our legal support services teams, with opportunities available across our friendly Gosford, Newcastle, Wollongong and Dubbo offices
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Register and update matters; maintain files, briefs, file notes and records of proceedings; organisation of court lists witnesses, exhibits, meetings, diaries and conferences.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including police, legal practitioners, witnesses and court registry staff to obtain and provide all necessary information and assistance.
- Provide general legal support including drafting correspondence, photocopying, maintaining records and supply management, reception work, and mail delivery.
- A Talent Pool will be created for future ongoing and temporary positions that may arise over the next 18 months in all 4 offices._

- Sound technology skills to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
**Interviews**
The interview process will be conducted virtually, and no travel will be required. The interview process will include capability-based assessments which may require your time and presence on more than one day.
