**Support Workers - Health Care**

**At ChoiceOne we are looking for skilled Support Workers in the field of disability, with 12+ month’s recent experience.**

ChoiceOne has been providing supportive services to clients for over 20 years and are seeking to expand our fantastic team due to increased demand in the health sector.

Minimum requirements:

- Cert III relevant Individual support (mandatory minimum qualification)
- Current Working with Children check - or able to attain one
- Current Drivers Licence with own vehicle
- Current National Police Clearance - less than 12 months old or able to obtain one
- Up to date Covid Vaccinations x 3
- Current Flu Vaccination preferred
- Medication competency certificate
- Epilepsy Awareness & Seizure management including medications
- Dysphagia experience preferred
- Diabetes awareness
- Experience with challenging behaviours and High care needs
- Peg Feeding
- Stoma care
- Asthma Awareness
- Catheter care
- Current Manual Handling
- Experience driving the multi-purpose wheelchair vans
- Need to have full working rights for Australia or appropriate Visa
