An exciting opportunity has become available for experienced resourcing/rostering professional to establish, finalise and publish the rosters for AV's operational workforce and ensure that all operational shifts are filled by suitably qualified paramedics, at the right time and in the right place.

**About the role**

This full time permanent position reports to the Area Team Leader Rosters and sits within the Operational Logistics Division of AV. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Develop, finalise and publish the rosters of operational staff in a timely and effective manner that support service levels of a 24/7 emergency operation
- Provide appropriate and effective support to all operational service delivery streams, including emergency services, non-emergency services and Air Ambulance
- Act as the primary Rosters contact and liaison point for Regional Management teams, providing support and ongoing education of required roster-related activities
- Liaise with other departments within AV to place and roster graduate paramedics
- Making informed resource decisions and providing specialist advice within the parameters of AV policies, procedures and Industrial Awards & Agreements
- Identify issues relating to rostering or rostering systems/processes and provide recommendations to ensure the ongoing development and improvement of rostering practice, policies and systems
- Foster a partnership approach to working with the other teams across the organisation and key business stakeholders, ensuring the appropriate expertise is engaged for compliance and results.

**About you**
- An Ambulance Paramedic qualification and experience is not essential for this position._
