**About the role**

Joining our team the primary purpose as our Health & Injury Management Partner you will provide specialist support to Ventia sectors to effectively implement workers compensation, health and injury management activities for our employees.

This role is responsible for supporting and enabling business units to appropriately address employee health and injury factors impacting safe work participation. This includes advice and assistance in relation to both work related injuries and non-work-related conditions

This position can be based from any of our office locations on the East Coast with flexible working options with time in the office and work from home.

**What you’ll be doing**
- To facilitate optimal workers compensation and injury management outcomes for employees.
- Management of illness prevention and management of all employee and workplace wellbeing factors impacting safe work participation.
- Facilitate co-ordination of claims, rehabilitation and return to work activities within sectors.
- Develop effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders and in particular, site staff, shared services colleagues, and external service partners.
- Case management strategy development and implementation for workers compensation, health and injury management matters to achieve optimal case resolution.
- Establish and maintain effective networks with treating doctors, insurers and rehabilitation providers, including review of preferred providers.

**About you**
- Demonstrated qualifications and or experience in a similar role.
- Effective consulting and relationship management skills.
- Well development communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience in a position with an occupational rehabilitation provider, employer, broker and or insurer.
- Passion for return to work initiatives and a focus on delivering optimal outcomes for employees and our business.
