Fresco Group now have **three supermarket stores** (IGA Runcorn, Fresco Sunnypark, Fresco Calamvale), **three convenient shops **(Fresco Rochedale, Fresco Pinelands, Fresco Brisbane City) and **a modern warehouse** in Brisbane area.

Our new store in **Toowong Village (Fresco Toowong) **will be opening soon.

We are seeking to recruit **Toowong Seafood Department Supervisor/Manager **to join the Fresco team.

**about the role**

**Reporting to the Store Manager.**

**Responsibilities**:
Manage day-to-day operations of the seafood department, including ordering and receiving product, merchandising, and sales.
Ensure that the department is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Train and supervise department staff, including scheduling and managing employee performance.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and sales, and analyze data to make informed decisions about product selection and pricing.
Collaborate with other departments, such as the meat and produce departments, to ensure that the store's overall product selection is cohesive and meets customer needs.
Ensure that all seafood products meet food safety and quality standards, and maintain compliance with local and federal regulations.
Monitor industry trends and adjust product selection and pricing accordingly.
Develop and execute promotions and marketing campaigns to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure a high level of customer service.

**Requirements**:
3-5 years of experience in seafood retail or related field.
Knowledge of seafood products, including species, quality, and preparation.
Skill in fish fillet and seafood preparation techniques.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
