Cafe Manager

Mercedes-Benz Toowong is part of Autosports Group which is a large, listed retail automotive group representing the world’s greatest prestige and luxury automotive brands. Currently with over 1800 employees across 55 Dealerships in NSW / QLD / VIC and NZ.

At our site in Toowong, we also have a café to elevate the Customer Experience and currently looking for a café all rounder to join the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service Excellence**: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations on menu items. Ensure a positive dining experience by addressing inquiries and accommodating special requests.
- **Food and Beverage Preparation**: Prepare coffee, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Assist in food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the cafe. Perform routine cleaning tasks and assist with opening and closing duties.
- **Multi-Tasking**: Manage multiple tasks during busy periods, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, serving food, and supporting colleagues.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with fellow team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
- **Adherence to Policies**: Follow health and safety guidelines, food handling procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items.
