About The Position
The CCSRI Project Coordinators provides support in the delivery of project reports, aligning them with the relevant government, college, and university policies and procedures.
Working collaboratively with their line manager, academic colleagues, and fellow project members, the CCSRI Project Coordinators delivers timely and accurate administrative support, encompassing project governance, planning, event planning and management, documentation, and problem-solving.
The CCSRI Project Coordinators also provides expertise in sharing knowledge, ensuring that all university, government, and project policies and amendments are thorough and up to date. Responses to cultural and operational changes that are essential to the College's strategic priorities are also part of the CCSRI Project Coordinator's responsibilities, as is the identification and implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality service.
Knowledge and understanding of the tertiary education sector is highly desirable.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have
- Undertake secretariat duties and ensure the effective delivery of governance activities across CCSRI and externally funded research projects, proactively working with Project and Centre Management team to contribute to and governance activities.
- Write and prepare relevant CCSRI centre or project reports and where appropriate, associated communications for social media or website.
- Delivery of Centre and project events in various formats including online, in person and hybrid.
- Coordinate research administration activities to support the Centre and projects including, maintaining documentation and reports and ensuring these are consistent, accurate and timely across the project milestones, and where appropriate Centre deadlines.
- Ability to work as an effective and flexible team member, demonstrating strong organisation and time management skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be professional, tactful, and discrete, and form working relationships with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds at all levels of the organisation and beyond.
