**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced trade compliance specialist to join L3Harris as a Trade Compliance Lead. Working with a highly skilled and tight-knit cross-functional team, you will ensure L3Harris’s adherence to legislative requirements and policies concerning the import, export, transfer and movement of sensitive technology and data - with particular emphasis on compliance with U.S. Export legislation

**About you**

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
- Experience working with Australian Defence Export Controls.
- In-depth knowledge of US Trade Compliance requirements including the ITAR and EAR.
- Familiarity HTS & Australia and New Zealand Customs regulations.
- Proven experience with writing policy and procedure documentation sets.
- Emotionally resilient, highly flexible and a naturally inquisitive individual.
- Displays a high level of respect, diplomacy and tact when dealing with stakeholders.
