**Job Description**:
**Your new role**
You will lead the management of export authorisations and compliance for related export regulations.
**Measures of success include**:
- The required export approvals to undertake business are obtained in a timely manner, enabling the achievement of program outcomes;
- Compliance with obligations under the export control permits and licenses;
- Increased engagement and understanding across Leidos Australia on Trade Compliance implications and obligations in program management.
- Leadership and engagement of a high performing team of Trade Compliance Specialists
**Qualifications**:
**About you**
You are an experienced Trade Compliance Manager with demonstrated history in maturing Trade Compliance practices and results across defence industry organisations.
- Extensive experience in International Trade Compliance with a strong working knowledge of Australian and United States Export and Import Controls requirements within a major Defence corporation.
- Proven ability to be hands on whilst also having a strategic focus to influence organisational change, be innovative and can think laterally.
- Demonstrated project management and excellent communication skills together with the ability to deal effectively and collaboratively with people at all levels.
